Welcome to ELA 7, Team Polar Bears! I have been teaching at Starpoint for 20 years, and I am fortunate enough to be part of a fantastic team of teachers.   I have lived in WNY my entire life, and currently live in Clarence with my family.  I graduated from Depew High School and Canisius College. You probably guessed, I am a reader, and enjoy most genres of literature. I was also an avid writer for years - a past time I hope to reconnect with soon. 

Until then, my daughter, my son and our dog keep mine and my husband's life busy with their school work and extra curricular activities.  When we can, we enjoy swimming, camping, hiking, biking, kayaking and ice skating. Right now, my son and I are on a huge pickleball kick (winner to be determined). Some days, sitting down and doing nothing is the best plan, and we unapologetically enjoy those few days when they come. I encourage you all to do what makes you happy, and simmer inside the slow moments of life.   

A frivolous fact about me: Every year when I blow out my birthday candles, I wish to grow at least two inches.  So far, no luck. 

I love middle school, and I feel grateful that I get to be part of this time in my students' academic careers.  Please do not hesitate to ever stop by for a quick chat.
